setting. You can check out the Redhat distribution CD from DECF.
Just send an email to nlin@newton.berkeley.edu

5. Planned system changes:
WebSSH:
Ever need to telnet to newton while you're traveling? We will be
adding a WebSSH service this semester. WebSSH is a java applet
which will allow you to login to our system through a browser.

POP mail support:
DECF is phasing out support for the POP mail protocol. Beginning
September 2001, we no longer distribute instructions for
retrieving email via POP. Any new accounts created after 1/1/01
are expected to use IMAP to retrieve their email (if they're not
using pine or unix mail to read mail). We will continue to
support existing users who use POP.
