Temporary Space/tmp is for TEMPORARY storage of large files. This area is completely emptied everytime the server is rebooted. You can create a directory named the same as your login name and place files there temporarily. The limit is 100MB for all users. When /tmp is cleared, all your files there will disappear completely and forever. No exceptions. If you need more space, you may want to get a standard account or archive your files. |
