Back to Mail Setup Instructions
- From the Tools menu, choose Accounts...

- Select your Account and click on Properties.

- Click on Advanced tab, CHECK This server
requires a secure connection (SSL), and Click OK

- Click on Servers tab, fill in Outgoing mail (SMTP)
and CHECK My server requires authentication,
then click Close

- If you're using SBC DSL or other ISPs and mail does not go through
then you need to use an alternate port: Under the Advanced tab
(from step 3) make sure the Outgoing server (SMTP) is set to
port 465. If that doesn't work, set it to port 587.
