Eudora (Macs) Mail Relay

If you are running Mac OS 9.0 through 9.2.2, you must first create at least one Keychain. This is REQUIRED for Eudora to be able to connect securely.
  1. Select Control Panels from the Apple menu.
  2. Open the Keychain Access control panel.
  3. If an "Unlock Keychain" dialog box (or a dialog box containing those words) appears, then you already have a Keychain defined. Enter your name and password to unlock your Keychain.
  4. If the "Create Keychain" dialog box (or a dialog box containing those words) appears, click "Create" (if that button appears), enter a name, password, and confirmation password and click OK.
Setup
  1. From the Special menu, click on Settings
  2. Click on Sending Mail icon on the left, make sure the following is set: SMTP Server: relay.decf.berkeley.edu Allow authorization: CHECKED
