| gv is the GNU version of ghostview, which allows to view and navigate through PostScript and PDF documents on an X display by providing a user interface for the ghostscript interpreter. If you are at a terminal with an X11 display, a window with the document in it should appear in a few seconds. You can scroll around individual pages using the middle mouse button and the scroll bars on the right and bottom, and switch between pages by clicking with the middle mouse button on the page numbers on the left. |
